The Transitional Living Program, located one block north of historic Olde Town Arvada, provides a state-licensed sixteen bed resident child care facility that accepts young men ages 15-18 who require independent and life skills training, but still need the support of a structured environment.
TLP residents work and attend school in the community. When they are ready, residents can transition into the independent living program supervised apartments (SEE; Independent Living Program section) or directly into a scattered sight apartment in the community. Though the living environment of the TLP is structured and staffed 24-7, 365 days a year, TLP residents will spend unsupervised time (traveling to and from work or school for example) in the community.
