Become a Church Partner

Our mission field is in your back yard – we heartily encourage and invite you to stand with us as ministry partners in providing intervention, rehabilitation and restoration services to kids and families wrestling with the worst of life’s challenges.  We’ve listed below ways your congregation can join us in this ministry.  If you are already a partner, select “Greetings Pastor” under the “What’s New” banner on the front page.  There you’ll learn of other benefits we offer as a thank you for the investment your church is making.

Lost and Found Inc. is a faith-based continuum of care for the rocky mountain region, indeed for the nation. Treatment settings include outpatient, intensive outpatient, residential treatment for at-risk teen boys, therapeutic group homes for boys and girls,  residential/transitional living program services for emancipating youth, an outreach to military/veterans and their families, and aftercare services.  Therapy addresses chemical dependency, mental/emotional/behavioral disorders, sexual reaction formations, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.  We need the prayers, partnership and other support of the Church to continue this mission of God’s great calling.

In February 2008 we received two bittersweet donations from two church congregations.  One disbanded due to an aging assembly and the other disbanded due to a younger group that could not sustain a leadership position.  Both donated substantial funds, as required by Colorado law when non-profits 'go out of business.'   These churches wanted to donate locally to our ministry efforts to the youth and children of Colorado.  They could've done otherwise, sending dollars overseas.  But by doing this good deed, the church continues to outreach and affect the lives of our own, right here!  What a joy this is and what a remarkable privilege for Lost and Found Inc.  May all their congregant members be blessed accordingly.

Direct Ministry Support

Your church congregation or small group can embrace a specific program area; you can invest not only your funds, but your volunteer labor as well. (i.e. group homes, residential treatment, transitional living program, military outreach)

Holiday Offerings

Communities of faith, businesses and service organizations often do special giving drives for our kids during the holidays and other special seasons (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, Back-to-School).  Our kids are so grateful for the gifts they receive.

Souper Bowl of Caring Sunday

This is a nationally promoted event in which many, many churches throughout the United States take up a single $1.00 offering per member for the charity of their event on Super Bowl Sunday. 100% of all donated dollars go to Lost and Found, Inc if your congregation elects to sponsor out agency.

Sponsor a Child or Family

The average amount of monetary support for a family or child to finish an outpatient treatment regime is $600.00. The average amount of monthly support for child in an "out of home placement" with Lost and Found Inc. is $4000.00 per month.

Send Referrals

If you know of a child, youth or family in need of our services, please, please send this to us first. We desperately want the church community to know that we are here and we care.

Promote our Special Events (and/or get involved)

Every year, Lost and Found Inc. attempts to raise our support levels with special events like our Pro/Am cook off, our annual Golf Megathon and the Carnation Festival. Just raising awareness of these events aids our cause. We need volunteers to assist in our various campaigns.

Preach/Speak on the Topic

The plight of our kids is largely unknown in the Christian community, or perhaps misunderstood. We need you to elevate the consciousness of this matter in your congregation.

Lost and Found Inc. will gladly come and speak, set up a booth display or just be available to present our work in any format best suited to your congregation. We can come prepared with brochures, updates, our prayer needs and even bring a youth to testify of their recovery and/or experience in our programs.

Please know that we are here to support your ministry as well in all that we do. Please click here to see what we can do to support your church and ministers.
