Our Children
These are difficult times for families
and youth. The demands, stress and pressures of today’s culture sometimes
drive many parents and children into making tragic mistakes. Some adolescents
may succumb to a life of crime, falling victim to drugs, immorality and even
homelessness. Regrettably, Colorado has experienced a tidal wave of broken
lives and kids in need of safe, secure and well-managed homes.

Believe it or not…these
desperate situations are not hopeless situations. You can provide hope in
a child’s chaotic world.
Family Foster Care provides a stable foundation
for treatment and growth, offering structure and guidance when it's needed
most. But more importantly, the moral and spiritual support provided by a
stable foster family helps children cope with and work through life’s
hurdles.
FOR THE ABUSED AND NEGLECTED, HEALING CAN ONLY HAPPEN WHEN A CHILD FEELS: SAFE, SUPPORTED and SECURE, then
the child has THE HOPE OF A POSITIVE FUTURE
True stewardship
True stewardship pertains
to the “care-taking” of everything and anything God has given
us. This includes “our” homes and His children.
As a Lost and Found Foster Family,
you will be entrusted with uncovering the hidden talents and gifts of our
foster children. They have survived traumas and tragedies that would overcome
most people.
When you open up your home to
a troubled child or youth, you are offering a safe place for that child to
grow and heal. By holding onto the positive
hope provided in a foster family environment, a wounded child can increase
the skills for a better future!
As a valuable component of our
Therapeutic Team, foster families help develop a comprehensive outlook on
treatment issues and the progress of a child in placement. Foster families
also enrich any and all counseling the child receives with spiritual support
and involvement in a local faith community.
WE NEED YOUR HELP!
We are looking for families willing to “parent”
at-risk children in an environment that will help them thrive and grow emotionally,
behaviorally, morally, and spiritually. This necessitates a strong, vital
commitment to nurturing and consistent guidance for a child.
Investing in a needy child’s emotional health and spiritual well being
is vital to the ministry of Family Foster Care.
Message from the Executive Director
As a fellow minister and brother in
Christ, I encourage you to become a foster parent for this organization with
all my heart. Our agency will promise our support, clinical and professional
supervision, and most of all– the Love Of Christ.
In today’s world, times are
hard for children and parents. The strength and stability of a home environment
managed under Christian values is priceless. The struggle is genuine and hopefully
you’ll hear His voice in this plea.
