Lost and Found Inc. offers a unique blend of internship outlets for those who desire to excel in their field of interest. Interns can choose from clinically based programs such as the Residential Treatment Center in Morrison, the Child Placement Agency dealing with children placed in foster care, or the Independent Living Program working with emancipating youth.

These settings offer the very best in learning environments for counseling, case management, client advocacy, milieu structure, identification of mental/emotional/behavioral disorders, individual treatment program design and aftercare. Besides degree program internships, professional child care worker, recreational therapist, teacher, youth advisor, and certifications of professional accomplishment are accommodated.

The Family Counseling Center serves the community in an outpatient forum. Graduate interns can attain an in-depth working knowledge of the current nuances of the delivery of psychotherapy in traditional settings such as individual, family and group sessions. Interns will also have the chance of exploring other treatment modalities including Nambutripad Allergy Elimination Technique (NAET) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) or explore specialty fields such as Play Therapy and Trauma Care.

In addition to the often sought after disciplines in therapy and counseling, social work and other psychology related areas of study, it seems any career interest can find an outlet in our agency. Internship opportunities exist for business, information technology, marketing, politics, research, chaplaincy, advocacy, youth ministry, and recreational sciences. Let Lost and Found Inc become your "training center" for building professional and relational skills; achieving academic proficiency and challenging your abilities in problem solving, critical thinking, and solution based communication.

The programs and departments at Lost and Found Inc. work closely with the individual intern and the educational institution to define practical goals and outcomes reflective of the learning process. This may be accomplished through "time limited" special projects; working in a specific position, or other methods necessary to enhance classroom and learning instruction.
